I'm Major Rick Mathews, CAP. The search continues for volunteers to offer photos from past Missouri CAP. You perhaps have History in your closet. The photos can be scanned by you yourself and then sent to my e-mail address or send me the photos and I will scan them for you. They will be appreciated, scanned, and returned with full credit given to you, the end product for the Wing to share.
While trying to put together the history of Missouri Wing I will continue asking for help from membership as well as ex-membership who may have access to such news articles, documentation, video, and photos to put the story together.
Again Thanks in advance for any help I can get in making this ignored task something we can share. It is our History! Our past!

NEWS____________ Happy Halloween,
This month's selection of photo donations come mostly from the Estate of the late Colonel N J Knutz, CAP. Colonel Knutz was a native of Lamont, Missouri, a veteran of both the Kansas National Guard and USAF attaining the grade of SSgt while in, served in CAP from all positions from Director of Cadet Programs thru National HQ as Inspector General. Photos picked are mainly from his term as Wing Commander from Dec 1976 thru November 1981.
NEWS____________ Happy Veteran's Day
November brings photos from now 90 year old Ltc Harry B. Daffer, CAP, himself like so many others of his ranks a World War Two veteran. His offering of photos cover 1962 thru 1965 and the adventures of Kansas City Squadron One. KC1 at my time of joining had over 100 active cadets and like my own Richards Gebaur Squadron held inspections for Senior as well as Cadets. Note the aircraft in backgrounds as this is the very early Vietnam period. Another thought when thinking of Seniors of today, their membership was less than twenty years from VJ Day. They were all still young.
